During the extra cold winter weekends, I’ll admit that it took a lot for me to willingly leave the apartment. But, there is one thing that will get any New Yorker out of bed on a late Sunday morning, no matter what the weather is: brunch. There’s a bar about a block from our apartment that has $2 mimosas, and that alone was enough for me to deal with the winter weather conditions. I sported my faux fur coat, because it was the coldest it had been all winter, and I know in a couple of weeks I’m going to have to retire it for the season. I mean, while being an outfit repeater might be a serious offense, being freezing and getting frostbite is probably worse, right? I’ve been digging the tights underneath distressed denim trend, although I admit that these tights are super sheer and didn’t do much for warmth. But hey, it’s a look! Of course, no brunch would be complete without a pair of oversized sunnies- I dubbed these Celines as the official brunch sunnies, a.k.a. the official hangover helper sunnies.
